Overview and Summary

This is an interactive seminar where participants are provided ten tools they can use to improve results for their teams by becoming better at leading, managing, motivating, guiding, and developing others.

This program presents ten of the best tools for leading and managing effectively. A sample of each tool is provided to participants along with a Reference Guide, stories, tips, and suggestions for how to use the tool to lead others and inspire teamwork and cooperation. Participants discuss the tools, share experiences, and explore how to adapt the tools for their individual use.

These tools address important skills such as Setting Goals, Communicating Goals, Developing Action Plans, Creating Systems and Tools, Providing Feedback, Establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), Motivating and Inspiring Excellence, Creating a Positive Work Environment, Dealing with Negativity and Limitation Thinking, Coaching, Mentoring, Conducting Effective Meetings, and more.

This program gives leaders and managers real tools they can use immediately. It boosts the self-confidence of those in leadership roles. It shows them how to use a variety of important nut-and-bolt tools that will help them be better leaders and managers and produce greater results.

This program improves the self-confidence that leaders and managers have in their abilities to set and achieve big business results goals through others.

This program teaches leaders and managers how to create and communicate inspiring goals that move people to act and that motivate people to stay persistent and on track until they attain the goals.

Those who attend leave with a completely new understanding of the principles of goal achievement, goal alignment, goal commitment, goal clarity, goal motivation, and what it takes to set and achieve goals through others. They will be more confident and sure of themselves in setting goals and knowing what they and others must do to achieve them.

We teach participants our proprietary 5Cs of Leadership Goals approach for setting and achieving business goals. We explain each of the five important “C” principles, show how those principles affect the success of goal achievement, and provide tools and resources for using our approach. One teaching technique we use is to show examples of goal “makeovers.” These are “before” and “after” goal statements that demonstrate how both the crafting and communication of a goal make a huge difference in results.

Jim Ball provides an enlightening and entertaining summary of the 5Cs in a keynote presentation for large groups. In our half-day seminars and workshops, participants bring their own business and leadership goals with them and we work together to makeover their goals to improve them.
